Beijing Lusongyuan Hotel

The Beijing Lusongyuan Hotel lies in the center of the ancient city, an old-styled "Hutong" (Mongolian for water well) in the eastern part of the city. It is surrounded by historical buildings built since Kublai Khan's Yuan Dynasty, and much of the buildings built from the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties are still preserved today.
Hutongs and quadrangles are typical Beijing architectural structures featured here. Hutongs are ancient styled lanes unique to Beijing. Quadrangles are the main structures inside hutongs.
The Lusongyuan Hotel will be in business starting July 15, 2003 after the tentative close due to SARS-affected low season.
